Alright i've made the decision to give you guys the option on how to start this tournament, i love the people's opinion (good or bad) so you guys choose:
Qualifying round (for 1v1, 2v2 might be dropped again): the TOP 4 players of the last tournament are automatically in and the remain players will have at least 3-4 days (maybe more) to rack up a good record to qualify (rules will be set for this as well)
A full on 2v2 tourney: i'm sure this will be the least popular but here goes, but yes everyone will be paired up with ppl from that 1v1 (unless they have their teams set up) and will have 1 week to achieve a decent record to qualify for the 8 man bracket
All 1v1: same idea as the 2v2 1 week best 8 records will qualify for the 16 man bracket
and last but not least
TO HELL WITH THIS TOURNEY SCHOOLS COMING AND YOU CAN'T DEAL WITH THE PRESSURE! :3
The matches will be AT YOUR OWN PACE, i gave you guys these options mainly because the brackets would be nasty looking if i just closed sign ups. more details on what you guys choose (except for the last one).

MetaKnight IS banned on this tournament as well so don't even think about it.
Sudden death caused by suicides will be rematched, same characters same stage, one stock, 3 minutes.
If pictures can be taken please take them, it is every person's responsibility to provide or at least mention who won from their match.
Lag is perfectly legal and should be expected, if you are scared of lag please don't sign up. (You should know how it rolls, its 1v1, if you know you're connection sucks huge ones well then yea don't bother, or forfeit xD)

If the lag makes the match impossible to do, both players are required to bring in speed test results to see who's at fault with the lag, person with worst ping will result in a forfeit, or if thats too risky either me, Imtayma, or Kris will have to show up on the match to see how bad the lag is and determine from there.
Should a player not show up on time of match agreed by both players, it will count as a forfeit unless it's a valid excuse (better be a damn good one too)

Initial rounds: Three stock, 10 minute time limit
Semifinals and finals: Four stock, 15 minute time limit. Best of three rounds.

Team attack off (Teams can set on agreement to have it on, but its off on default)
If no partner, you will be given a random partner from the participant list, no exceptions! (Mention this when you sign up)

If during Sudden Death a player Suicide KOs using Bowser's claw, the win will be awarded to the victim.
