[Brawl] SSBB Ranking Battle #1 Sign-ups - Mario Kart Wii Forum

This is the first tournament of 6 biweeklies I'll be hosting for Super Smash Bros Brawl here on Mario Kart Wii Forums. In each tournament players gain points based on where they finish in the tournament and the player with the most points at the end of the 6th tournament will be declared Champion. Up to 16 players can sign-up for each tournament.

The League Champion will receive a a VC game equal to 1000 Wii Points or less.

~ How the tournament will be run ~

1. Double elimination Tournament (May change into a Round Robin if there is less than 7 players)

2. The tournament starts on Saturday August 23 @ 3 pm EST (2 pm CST, 1 pm MST, 12 pm PST) and held in my chat, LeGIonCUp chat group - A chat to help organize tournaments. Do not sign-up if you can't play at that time, you will just be wasting your time and mine but importantly you will be taking up a spot for people that want to play. The tournament is about 2 hours long.

3. Sign-ups start today and end on August 22 @ 11:59 pm EST or when all 16 spots are filled

4. The draw will be made when sign-ups are done and not revealed until the tournament starts

5. All competitors that signed up would have to check in the chat from 2 pm EST to 2:45 pm EST on August 23 (1-1:45 CST, 12-12:45 MST, 11-11:45 am PST). Players that have not checked in on time will be disqualified from the tournament.

6. Rounds start every 15 minutes with a 15 minute break in the middle of the tournament. If your opponent doesn't respond in 5 minutes after the Round starts then they will forfeit.

It appears you're in Canada, you won't be able to gift VC games to people in other countries, IIRC. I hope you have it arranged so that a winner can get his prize regardless of nationality.

Its okay. I once gifted a vc game to a united states player by changing my wii country setting to USA. This happened like 3 months ago and I don't think ninty changed anything.

My info's in the post above. Also, would I be allowed to ask for 2 NES games, making a total of exactly 1000 Wii Points?
