The games from what I've seen are pretty good. My friend has one, and loves it for movies and music and stuff. I personally am such a Nintendo freak, that I got 2 DS's instead lol. For my birthday (Friday) Im getting Games N Music from my girlfriend. It allows the DS to download homebrew games (which i heard suck), and play music and videos off of a mini SD card. Which makes it close to the PSP minus the obvious differences. I think the PSP is worth it, just cant get over that Nintendo only thing in the back of my head lol
The games on it are ok. I generally use mine to listen to music on it. It can also store pictures and you can download videos to watch.
I recommend it, but the games could be a bit better.
To all the boys and girls. We wish a great freakin' Christmas and that every boy and girl get what they want from Santa.
"Well, ready to go?"
"Yeah, let's go."
"So long all! Until then..."
I don't recommend it. Maybe it's because I'm also a Nintendo fan but I used to own only a PSP and a Wii and my PSP was unused. Okay, it had a few good games but if you prefer Nintendo games over Sony you'll have a hard time coping with this. I just wanted to play a Mario game on it but that's impossible, and I really didn't feel like screwing up my PSP with homebrew. I'm not a huge music fan so I don't own an Ipod, and if you're the same you most likely won't use the music function. I've yet so see one good movie out for the PSP but you might be able to download a few videos from Google I guess.
Now the few +'s I have to say are the graphics for games and the Photo option. I like viewing high-quality pictures on it wherever I go, but that still doesn't mean I'd buy it. Currently, I sold it and bought a DS Lite.
i would recomend it but dont get mad with it like the other poster said (lol forgot who it was) and dont punch the screen,i got annoyed with my psp because the home thing kept comming up without me pressing the button so i punched the screen and when i turned the psp on again all it showed was a large crack across the screen
I think the PSP is a decent thing to own. The games on the PSP are Ok, there aren't a lot of selections, and only a few handfuls of blockbuster hits. The DS definitely has the better games overall, but the PSP does have other features that are a whole lot better than the DS. The graphics on the PSP are amazing. They're like even better than the PS2's graphics, even close to what the Wii has. There are music and video features that the PSP has as well, so the PSP can be a multi-media player as well (videos need to be UMD ones though).
Overall, the DS has the better games, so if you're going for gameplay, get a DS if you don't have one already, but the PSP does have quite a few games that are extremely well done and worth playing, and the graphics one this baby are remarkable.
I would totaly reccomend one im getting one this weekend over a ds because they play movies song have better games and not as childish though the ds is fairly good
