Not sure if anyone here besides myself played Marvel Ultimate Alliance when it first came out but I read that the follow up Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 will be based off of the Marvel Civil War comic book series where you can choose sides either with Iron Man or Captain America. Spider Man, Cap America, The Hulk, Iron Man and Human Torch have already been confirmed as being in the game.

We already knew it was coming, but amongst yesterday's MS/Acti marketing leaks were some further details on the upcoming Marvel: Ultimate Alliance II. The game will be set during Marvel's recent "Civil War" story arc, with players forced to choose sides in the conflict. There'll supposedly be "over 20" playable Marvel characters, including the Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Venom and the Human Torch, and players will be able to "fuse" two character's powers together to give one character hybrid abilities. The release mentions the game will be appearing on 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, PSP & DS.

It seems good.I hope rogue is in this one.

I think it could be a little of since Spider-Man nor Hulk even existed for that era...
I thought the game would continue as the first one ended...With Galactus saying something about crushing Earth...
