Black Wii Remote dominates.

Last wednesday me and some friends deceided to skip class (it was business japanese anyways ) and go to a park for a picknick. I proposed a park that used to be the site of the World Expo '70. There's a nice and freaky statue over there and I really wanted to see it with my own eyes. It took us over 3 hours to get there because we thought we could do it by foot, and by that time there was hardly anything left to do because the park closed 40 min later. Too bad but we still had a nice day out.

So as we were walking we passed another park and deceided to go through it. There was this path made of rocks that's supposed to be good for your feet...


Except, it was waaaaaay too painfull!


Pure torture I tell you!


I really wasn't the only one thinking this sucked. Oddly enough there was a old japanese person actually walking up and down it as if it was nothing...


So we were walking and all of the sudden we see the statue, called 太陽の塔　(Tower of the Sun).


They built this monorail here which was quite insane and totally not needed. Gotta love governement spending!


The thing that really sucked is that they have an awesome themepark right across from the park, but it closed down some years ago because someone got killed in a rollercoaster accident. This is all there remains.

And there it finally is, the Tower of the Sun in all it's glory. I loved how random it was. It's like a total joke but so awesome at the same time!

i was reading the OP and the last picture has 2006 on the building...but after i wrote the post and posted it, i ended up on the last page and saw you posted new pictures so i didnt want you to get confused.

i thought you were just updating the first post rather than posting new stuff elsewhere =]
