It really depends on the age. When your above 20 years of age it doesn't really matter though.
I'm 14 and I probably would set the limit for me at about 1 year possibly 2.

Adults... well, whatever they want. Usually 5 years.
To me age is nothing but a number though. I'm a little older then my boyfriend but who cares

I'm a Senior in High School, I would go down to dating a Freshmen probably. Maybe 8th grade if they look like they should be in a higher grade. It may be awkward this early, but down the line it works out. I'd rather be older than the girl I'm dating.

Once you get to about 20/21 I don't think age difference is such a big deal.

Though when you're younger, there seems to be some unspoken rules about girls going out with younger guys in comparison to guys going out with younger girls.

Like; If a 17 year old girl went out with a 15 year old guy it would generally be frowned upon, but if a 17 year old guy went out with a 15 year old girl it wouldn't.

Though saying that one of my friends is 20 and has an 18 year old boyfriend....

But at the end of the day, age is just a number and when two people fall for each other, it never matters. =)

Because most of the people here are kids, only a couple years should be the max. But when you get closer to my age, a bigger age difference doesnt matter as much.

I was with a girl who was 38 when I was only 22. That was more of a sexual relationship though than anything.

But when you are 15 you shouldnt be going after girls who are 12. You just shouldnt be.

You are probably too young to be worrying about this anyways.

What kind of stupidity is this? Think about what you say before you say it. As long as it isnt a minor with an adult? So a 16 year old minor with a 10 year old minor is ok?

There is a limit, i'd say a year above/below , when your younger anyways, but everyone has different opinions of what it should be.

You guys, there's a formula for this! It's called the Standard Creepiness Rule. The rule is: don't date under (age / 2) + 7. To get the maximum age, reverse the equation: don't date over (age - 7) * 2.

So for me (20, although that changes this month ), I can date as low as 17 and as high as 26. But a 16 year old is limited to an age range of 15-18.

This is scientific fact; don't argue with it.
