lol no joke. I saw hail a little bit bigger than that this last April. It was not pretty to listen to or see.
The worst natural disaster I've seen was last December's ice storm. My family was pretty fortunate. Our power only went out for two days, and none of our cars were truly damaged. The tree next door did split in half and split our redbud in half causing both of to fall on one of our cars, but it did nothing other than minor scratches. lol
However, if we hadn't moved the truck, it would be gone now. A huge branch landed right in it's place.
But altogether the ice storm did more good than bad for me personally. It was beautiful, and it canceled finals for me. =P
The worst part was the trees. We lost tons of branches. The trees around here don't look the same anymore.
I'm a bit worried about what's to come, though... Seriously. This last winter was insane, and than we get over golf ball sized hail?
I won't argue an explanation for it, but things are changing no matters what anybody else says. Winters where temperatures shift 40 - 50 degrees every other day are just not right. And I do not kid when I say that happened quite a few times.
