Default Another TPL Issue

Ok, so what I am trying to do is to edit the TPL, more spefically the TPL that is used on textures such as the timer, lap counter, and position counter.

So, what I wanted to do is to make a little adjustments to these TPLs. I'm not making one from scratch, I'm just going to edit the default ones. So what I did was export those them using CTools. Now here's the problem.

After exporting them, I tried to use an editing program such as Adobe Photoshop. But it couldn't actually read the exported file.

Now, what have I done wrong?

Export them as PNG with the SZS Modifier.

Well I did that, but the editing programs still can't read it.

With what kind of method did you export it, did you right click on the tpl file and export raw data and rename the file extension as .png? or did you double click on the tpl image and then click file and export as .png then save it? (SZS Modifier)

I used SZS Modifier, right clicked the TPL file name, and clicked on Export Raw Data.

Thats the thing that your doing wrong. The correct way is double clicking on the tpl image(Grey Area wher the Item/Picture is displayed) and then click file(located top left) and export as .png and then save it (SZS Modifier)

Case Closed [:

Use my tools to generate a TPL directly from PNG:
Code:
# export: create a png
wimgt copy a.tpl b.png

# create tpl
# -x cmpr defines the internal image format.
wimgt copy b.png c.tpl -x cmpr
# add -o to overwrite an exosting image.
more details: wimgt copy
