Can you use a speakit while online? I couldn't find a thread on it! Also how do you know how has the speak or not?

I think Wii Speak works something like the friend code system that Nintendo has in place. I know that it works with Animal Crossing for the Wii, and the upcoming game the Conduit.

What he Nightmare said is true. It works on ACCF atm, though the Nintendo are going to make conduit which will involve the wii speak.

wii speak only works on some games that are very new but the wii speak channel will come out in december

Wii Speak has a friend code which your friend has to add. You both have to add each other's friendcode.

If you start a chat on the Wii Menu and then join a non-Wii Speak compatible game you will still be able to chat, As long as you start the chat in the Wii Menu it's fine.

If you want to chat with others online in a game like Animal Crossing: City Folk then just join a game and turn on your Wii Speak while online.

I never really understood why they didn't have vioce chat of some kind since the beginning. Oh wait, nintendo fails...
