Pretty much...
Xbox 360 and PS3 both had some sort of microphone for many games already...
Wii speak is only compatible for Animal Crossing and The Conduit so far D:
Nintendo really need to think further...

I agree. Nintendo haven't planned anything at all, they need to plan before they release. But I guess they were under pressure with the speaking accessories for the PS3 and X360.
