If you could only see the beast you've made of me...

So it seems I haven't blogged since Christmas apart from one blog about a scare we had with my grandmother and another kind of small blog in February which was mainly about Christmas, so I guess I'll post about what I can remember about the last 6 months.
I'll be putting some sections in spoilers as this blog is long.

January to March I don't actually remember that much. I don't think anything major really happened. Had a few exams that I talked about in my February blog. Had a Physics retake for my Core Science, got an A*, didn't change my overall grade of A, but hey.

End of March/beginning of April up until a week ago was filled with schoolwork and revision. Finishing coursework, preparing for exams, that sort of thing.

But anyway, school aside, the last few months have been pretty good. Basically all my exams went well, and it seems that my mum and I will finally be moving out of the less-than-satisfactory house we're living in at the moment soon. The house it's self isn't terrible, I guess, but our neighbour is. That's another blog though. So yeah, things seem to be looking good for summer. I'm hoping to be visiting my grandparents and cousins for a couple of weeks soon, which I'm looking forward to.

I had my birthday back in April, and I have to say it was one of the best birthdays I've had so far I think, that I can remember anyway. Details in spoiler. :>

Online, I feel I have grown closer to some people over the first half of this year. The group I talk to on Skype that used to be bustling but then died for a while seems to have become more active, with the help of some music competitions and the idea of maybe doing another RPG. On the forums I haven't really posted that much, but I've still been around and had some fun and laughs, so yeah. Good to see this place is generally active now, maybe not as active as it used to be a few years ago, but also not as inactive as it was a year or two ago. So yes. That's good.

That's all I can really think of to write for now, I think. That's pretty much my last six months summed up. Yay.

Hmm, not really. Besides going to visit my grandparents, I don't really have anything planned other than playing loads of video games and probably going to my dad's for a week at some point. How about you?

SM3DL made me rage like crazy before I all the special worlds Still haven't beaten the final bonus level. It reminds me of the perfect run in SMG2 being extremely difficult and a pain. x_x

Anyways, it's great that you've had a great 6 months and a great birthday and I hope summer is just as great as this past time has been for you. ^_^

Yeah, I haven't blogged in awhile either. Just not much to talk about other than things nobody is likely to care about ; x

Cool, 3DS. I'd play you on Mario Kart 7 but I want to get a new 3DS with a correctly working R button before I start playing too much. Regarding SM3DL. Huh, you know...I only ever had trouble in a few of the special levels when I tried to go for all the star coins in one run, which I always did. Other than that I pretty much beat the levels in 1-3 tries.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon..yeah. The first one had a pretty great story. Hard to remember much about the second one (That's the Darkness/Time/Sky series right?) but I remember liking it for quite some time before eventually giving up on it. I'm pretty much the same as you regarding Pokemon Black. I bought both White and Black on the same day but I never really got around to really playing Black, and only completed White.

Congrats on liking the Zelda series. I've liked the Zelda series since I got the original Nintendo and played the first Zelda. Twilight Princess was pretty cool back when I got it. Especially when you played a wolf and whatnot. My first Zelda game on the Wii was that game and I thought the graphics were amazing. Ocarina of time and Majora's Mask are great games, but a lot of people didn't like that you can't save like normal or that whole 3-day system in Majora's Mask. Still a great game IMO. Also, there's plenty of older Zeldas to play. If you like Ocarina of time I suggest trying the Super Nintendo Zelda (The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past) which is very popular among Zelda fans.

If you can play Gameboy Color games somehow, you should also try: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. Not sure if you are one of those that can still enjoy old games or not though. Of course, you still have The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword to try ; x. By the way, you will probably really hate the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time, or at least find it mildly annoying. Just a heads up warning.

I remember when I used to RP with people. The last time I did was with a group of people who liked an RPG on the Gameboy Advance called Golden Sun, and its second version, Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Good times. We had our own forums though and ended up RPing for just under six years together (on the same story) before we started losing interest (and with life getting in the way). Babbling.
