I fixed my laptop weeks ago, but I didn't post about it, because I've been quite busy lately playing Team Fortress 2 on Steam. Hell, I even parted from the project I was working on for a while.

Anyway, I have some fresh, new ideas that go with the side project I've been working on that is also related to my main project. (If you've clicked on the link in my signature and tried the thing out, that's what the side project is.) As I sit there in school doing mostly nothing, I begin to...

Ugh. Once again, my futile attempts at amounting to something have been triumphed. The project that I was making good time on has been delayed further. Much, much further. My computer has, and will repeatedly fail to withstand 30 seconds after getting past the Starting Windows screen. Every time I log on, safe mode or not, I get less than 15 seconds to look at my desktop while it's active. After that short 30 second period, it freezes up until I pull the battery out of it's place.

Sorry I haven't posted an entry in a while, two people who care. I've just been so busy lately.

I plan to have a sheet of all the objects in the game, divided into sections of world, level palette, 4-byte, and enemies. It's going to be a matter of weeks before I finish that. But even after that, I'm still not finished.

I'm going to try and upload screen-recorded videos of gameplay of my maps. That is, if I can play my maps perfectly without failing...

My trip to Boston has reached it's conclusion (You read about it in my other blog).

Now that I'm back, I bring great news! Using the power of teknaluhgy, I have found a way to turn my MS Paint trainwrecks into real Super Mario Bros. 3 Levels! In fact, I don't even need to make imitation maps on MS Paint anymore. I have the real deal!

But, that Test Level I made in MS Paint could not be played. On the bright side, I plan to have videos of the new maps...

The examples for said "project" are coming along just fine. ...Except for the fact that I have 1 out of 10 finished. Hell, I'm not even through with the first one yet. Oh well. At least I'm having fun creating them. As will the general public once my project is complete, and they can make their own. =)
