Slater's Final Blog: Words to a Very Special Friend

Well these are some of my last words on my time on these forums and they're all for a very special person in my life that is a member of this site as well. Here goes.
September 23rd, 2008 was the day we met, this was during a fun room hosted by Frank.
Though it was only 1 GP that I was in, I remember exactly what we used that 1 GP. I was Koopa/Mini Beast, you were Dry Bones/Mini Beast. I knew I'd have a friendly rival there =3
Our rivalry lasted for about 4 months until after Frank decided to stop hosting rooms for a while. It was probably my favorite competition to have, and we were always at a very close record =P
Someday we will relive that rivalry once I become more active in MKW, we'll have 1v1s and even maybe do some WWs with our old mains and even BBs as well :3
During this time span and after this time span, I felt like I wanted to get to know my favorite person to race with at the time a little bit better, and we've both done so, pretty soon you became my best friend ^^
We talked about almost everything together, and you helped me get better at battling before I decided to join your battle clan, Solo as well. If it weren't for you, I'd be one terrible battler xD
Pretty soon, I became closer and closer to you as you would always be there for me during my darkest hours of my life and would support me with everything with your loving guidance. I never thought I would have a friend like you after you helped me out with some of my problems, and now you have become one of the most influential and special people in my life, regardless of me not knowing you irl <3
We've gone such a long way in our friendship, it can only get better as time goes by. We rarely have flaws in everything but we manage to overcome them and keep the strong bond between us <3
My Dry Bones Rival, my battle teacher, my favorite clanmate in Harmony, my best friend and my sister. Kay thank you so much for everything you've done for me over this one year and one month that we've known each other. Our friendship means so much to me that if you were not on this site, I'd be a different person and I probably wouldn't have been on this site this long enough <3
I love you Samantha, thank you for everything we’ve come across so far in the time that I have gotten to know you~ <3 ^^

Aww, thank you so much slate, that really touched me. And I was always glad to be there for you on those hardest times where you had no one to talk to. Just know I'll always be here when you need me. <3 x3
And yes, the past will be remembered with the fun that we had, and one day we shall do our race. ;3 Thank you so much for the special post, it really means a lot. I love yous like a little brother, and a close friend. <33 :333 |
