That's right, Federer is back on the courts and he's still destroying the competition. The Madrid Masters 1000 is well underway with the Semi-finals hitting off Saturday (tomorrow). So whats the lineup, well maybe you'd think the Top 4 did it again; you'd be wrong. Murray didn't even play the event (I assume an injury) so Tsonga was the #4 seed. Well next you think; Nadal made the semis since he's invincible on clay, not the case. Verdasco pulled off 3 breaks of Nadal in the 3rd set to tan his hide in the 3rd round. Nadal's first loss on clay in 2012 to a relatively mediocre player whom Rafa had beaten 12 times in a row. Well what about World #1 and defending Madrid Champ Djokovic? His compatriot Tipsarevic decided to take a stand and axe Novak in the Quarterfinals. What does this mean? Federer is the only Top 4 standing in the Semi-finals of Madrid unless you want to count Del Potro who faces Berdych in the other Semi. Djo and Nadal just lost a ton of points and the road is now paved for Federer to waltz back into the #2 ranking with an eye on that illusive #1 and Sampras' record of most weeks holding the #1 rank. So, if my prediction is correct (Federer wins Madrid and Del Potro comes 2nd), Roger would be World #2 and Del Potro World #8. A very satisfying result as far as I'm concerned. With the French and Wimbledon on the horizon, the opportunity for Federer to take that #1 Rank from Djokovic is now, if he continues to play like this, I doubt Djo could stop him. Now we just need Del Potro back as #5.

Continuing the tennis theme, 9 days till Mario Tennis Open. The Unlockable characters suck balls but I don't particularly care. Waluigi and Bowser are playable; that's 2/3 favs so I'm satisfied. Can't wait to get it and dominate like only I can; it'll be glorious.

As my profile image and sig suggests, I'm a fan of The Legend of Korra. It's a very entertaining and high quality show; it beats MLP:FiM any day. Wait.. no! I didn't mean it Rarity! DON'T LEAVE ME!!!
((that's a joke, fyi I haven't watched MLP since September) Rarity left me in November)

Still enjoying League of Legends, got Varus first thing on Tuesday and he's amazing. I've had great matches with him and garbage matches. The trick is the early game, if you get your ♥♥♥ handed to you early, you're as good as beat. But if you stay alive or maybe even get your opponents early, then Varus is a demon mid and late game. This is why I love Fizz; I can get beat convincing early but kick extreme ♥♥♥ mid and late with just a few items. I often find a way to suck early with Fizz; one gank later and I'm deadly. Looking into getting LeBlanc and/or Riven soon; not exactly sure why but I find both very intriguing atm. LeBlanc particularly cause she's another deadly mid to join Fizz, Ahri and Viktor.

Back home and at work since its summer vacation, good to be back. Can relax, play LoL, watch tennis and baseball or whatever at my leisure. I'd rather not discuss my University issues but the short answer is I'm switching to a Major in History with the hope of still being a High School Teacher. I'm guaranteed a Minor in Biology; maybe even a double Major, so I'm satisfied. I'll blog again after Madrid, during Rome or before the lovely French Open, see ya then.
