A small look into the life of Ray.

A small look into the life of Ray.

Nearly there...
Just a couple more hours till my last Exam of the year, and I'm writing a blog instead of focusing on my studies; that about sums up this term in a nutshell. At this point, I'd rather it just be over with and then forget it ever happened. Long story short, it was not pleasant.
Looking forward to some future handheld games, particularly; as my profile image suggests, Mario Tennis Open. I've been waiting for a Mario Tennis game with online capabilities since 2007 when MKW and Brawl were announced. I hoped it would be on the Wii system so it would play like Wii Sports Tennis (except better) but looks like I'll have to settle for the 3DS. Of course; as my image suggests, my favourite mario tennis character is Waluigi. He got his start as Wario's partner in crime on the tennis courts and at first I thought he was a cheap knock-off. But then, what the heck is Wario? An ugly cheap knock-off. Waluigi actually has some class; his laugh and "Waluigi numbah one!" quotes are amazingly kickass and most importantly, his reach makes him an incredibly awesome tennis player. Bowser and Paratroopa were my next best players; I like to play a fairly defensive game, pushing my opponents around the court until I get a weak shot which I can pounce on and push to the net for a volley winner. Waluigi and Paratroopa fill that role nicely, whilst Bowser can move remarkably well for a fat dragon/turtle but his power gets that weaker shot earlier in the rally. Anyways, just really really excited at the prospect of dominating this game online and maybe having a clan/doubles partner of similar calibre.
After Mario Tennis Open, is the next Fire Emblem game; boy does it look amazing. Can't wait for it to be released in NA, right NOA?
Those Battle Monk/Cleric classes look fantastic. And then, of course, the ill fated Pokemon Black 2. Can't resist my pokemon, tried to with Gen 4 and their stupid looking Legendaries but what else are you gonna play on a DS? Plus, I couldn't resist Empoleon; half Steel starter? Sign me and take my ruppees! I hope Black 2 will offer a lot of new features but my main concern is enough high level battles post End Game. I like to challenge my teams often so the more available battles the better.
Tennis talk time, Federer is kickass. That is all. Oh and Cilic is back, yay. Seriously though, Monte Carlo took a bad turn today with Tsonga and Murray losing; destroys my chances of winning the PAW. :(
I've been playing a lot of League of Legends lately. Its very fun and addicting; takes skill and strategy to come out on top. My favourite champs would have to be: Fizz, Janna, Shyvana, Lulu, Leona, Sejuani and Viktor, as of the moment. My main concern right now is to build up IP to complete my Fizz rune page whilst learning how to get better at Mid laning with Fizz. He's a high skill champ who can be difficult to manage but I just love the way he plays, feels very natural for me. I often get out-zoned with him in-lane because I'm against ranged opponents so I gotta increase my play time to find that proper play-style that'll push my adversary back. At the same time, I kinda prefer to get pushed; that way I'm safe from jungler ganks and my opponents are more likely to over-extend. Kinda fits Fizz cause he bursts down opponents so quick and its not my role to be wasting money on wards. Somewhat interested in trying Hecarim but I'm actually more interested in Varus. I'm a poor AD carry; the only one I own and feel comfortable with is Sivir. Adding Varus to my team of V-guys (Vladimir, Viktor and Volibear), his usefulness would be high; particularly if I could actually use him well. May get him day 1, but it would be a risky purchase. After that, I need to practice Jungling; cause I suck big time, Shy and Sej ain't easy junglers either.
Eh, I think that's enough for today; gotta get to work. See y'all at the race tomorrow.
