A small look into the life of Ray.

The times, they are hard...
Well Happy Valentines Day everyone. Hopefully you're telling your special someone how you feel about them today cause that's really what the Day is all about.
Anyways, I'll get on to the main topics. First off, you may have noticed Cookeh and Enzio are no longer on the staff. I, of course, can't go into details but I'll say this. I was very much shocked and disappointed in their behaviour behind the scenes and, even though we're still friends, they truthfully deserved to be demoted. As much as it pains me to say that, they broke the standards of moderator honour and that's just not right.
Beyond that very saddening bit of news, its been a long weekend, which personally I really enjoyed. Nice to be having fun and feeling like time is going in slow motion, lets you appreciate the moment. Most people would probably get very stressed over what I've faced the past 4-5 days and I can't say I haven't been but when you're spending time with people who are special to you, the hard times feel more like minor inconveniences.
Well the weekend was noteworthy on the tennis front as the first round of the Davis Cup World Group Playoffs began with an R16 match between France and Canada. Canada hasn't been in the World Group in nearly a decade so this was a big deal for us Canadian tennis fans. Canada got a win; Raonic beating Benneteau on Day 1. Sadly that was our sole victory, which was sorta expected. France wins 4 - 1; just good to see Canada back in the Top 16 and I don't see us leaving anytime soon.
I really don't have much to say in this blog. Not a lot I can talk about. Hopefully the next blog will have plenty of material. See ya next time.
