Last year after E3 I wrote a two-part blog entry covering almost every major game announced by Nintendo. It was a big year for them, with big new installments for several of their main franchises as well as unveiling the new system. This year was not quite like that.

Well, it's been a little while since I've blogged, and since spring break is starting I figured it's about time that I post a new blog. I don't know what one has to do with the either, honestly, but I don't think anyone reading this will care. (Hint: it's only Ray!) Let's see, what is there to go over?

Normally when I type up a new blog, I start with the title. And whenever I type up that "In which" part, a list of the previous blogs I've started with "In which" comes up. Today that didn't happen, and it suddenly occurred to me that I haven't blogged since before Christmas, which is when I received my new laptop (which does not remember my old blogs typed up on other computers.) My Wii broke. Well, not exactly. The other day I wanted to play some MKW (*shudder*) with Ray, so I popped it in and booted up the Wii, only for it to tell me it can't read the disc. I tried again, blew off the dust, made sure I wasn't putting it in backwards--same thing. Then I tried putting in Super Mario Galaxy 2, and it couldn't read that either. I'm not sure how many people who are active in the blog section are really what some might call "hardcore gamers", but nevertheless, this piece of gaming news might somewhat interest you. It's not even so much about games as it is an issue concerning popular culture in general; this is just a particular example found in a recent high-profile video game that caused a bit of a ruckus on the interwebs a little while ago. You could probably guess from the title what game we'll be talking about....
