VMA Results and My Opinions

OK, I'm sure a lot of you don't really care what I think and don't even watch the VMA's. I do, every year. I've always loved them. This year wasn't nearly as good as it has been lately, but it was still nice. So here are my opinions on the awards:

Who I Think Should of Won:
Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra)
Why?:
It was the only video that didn't confuse me... It has a nice artwork affect and isn't about making out with guys.

Why?:
Not really a new artist, but the best song and singer/band nominated.

Why?:
She's a really talented artist, and the video was actually good. Starships is a good song, but that video was bogus. Most of the people who voted probably didn't even see any of the videos, and like Starships the most and just voted for it.

Why I Think It's Dumb One Direction Won:
I know it's pretty obvious they were going to win. It wasn't even the best video. It's just there fan girls voting for them because they're good looking.
