It seems to me that blogs that have one or two sentences only and usually pointless get more views, and comments than other blogs (excluding the popular blogs from popular members - no intentions to offend anyone). I was reading a few blogs recently, and quite a few were short and meaningless; something you could put as your status pretty much. And don't go hating just because this is far from the longest entry ever, but I am 110% sure it isn't the shortest and most meaningless.
