[QUOTE=sly;4787342]"Banks are more powerful than standing armies" -Thomas Jefferson
QUOTE:
War is an 'animal' trait we humans sadly possess. When someone infringes on your beliefs, property, etc. We attack because we're quite territorial. We can curb it with "centralized" Governments, like the United Nations.
Everyone shouldn't have a huge obsession of other peoples religion. It's mostly opinion, but why do we care about other peoples beliefs? It's their life not ours.
QUOTE:
However, to truely end war, you have to remove religion and religious-inflicted ideologies (root cause of 80% wars in history) from humanity. Which, for obvious reasons, will never happen.
You have that right. Never going to happen.
QUOTE:
We can remove the territorial wars. But as we saw in World War II, nobody is really stoked about losing their power to a foreign entity. The lives and monetary costs are steep. "A war to end all wars" is this method.
There's never a war to end war. It will probably cause more and more wars, and at some point everyone's dead
QUOTE:
Diplomacy seems to be the method of ending wars, but sadly, some people who end up in power (mostly the non-elected leaders of the world) like to be filled with other human emotions - like deceit. They'll say one thing in a summit then do the opposite because they can.
That's how most wars are started. Like Bin Laden wasn't a leader of Africa, and he caused 9/11

Why do they fear? If we did set an attack, they would fight back, anyways. They should have been sure before they attacked Pearl Harbour
QUOTE:

Some wars are pointless, and only led to loss of life and economy; it's easy to see that. But when there are people such as Hitler or extremist religious groups, these people don't understand what constitutes a civil society and they have far too much influence, leading to violence. These people need to be persuaded or removed (killed) to preserve the future morality and prosperity of Earth.

There should only be wars if they're badly needed, like 9/11 for comeback. But we destroyed a lot of the country, and used a bunch of money, so we need to be more careful. You can't just go there with a rifle and shoot everyone till everyone's dead.
