Chapter 2:Rise of The Crimson Fist

-Moscow, Russia:inside The Kremlin-

The Kremlin's halls were especially cold that day. it was around midnight, so all the lights were on. Throughout the halls, all that could be heard was the cold footsteps of the guards walking about, making their rounds. but one room in particular, was not so cold and dank. In this room, jolly laughter and the oft heard clinking of glass could be noted. inside were many hearty generals, statesmen, and two particular people of intrest. One was none other than the President of Russia himself. Seated next to him was an abnormaly large and muscular man, Vladamir Dugal, The lead commander of the Crimson Fist, a National Guard of sorts, that happened to have plenty of public support. Then the President of Russia arose, and Dugal along with him. the room grew silent as he spoke. "Fellow Commrades," he began, "today we celebrate the brave efforts of our good friend, Vladamir Dugal.". A short aplause. He continued, "for one week ago today, he and his commrades in the Crimson Fist succesfully quelled what was, perhaps, the largest rebellion in our history.". More applause. "And now, my commrades," he conttinued, ".I shall turn over the floor to our good friend. ladies and getlemen, Commander Dugal!". Applause, but this time louder and more vigorous. then Dugal began.

"Commrades, I thank you for this recognition.... but i must say, it was a heartwrenching experience..". he paused, grinning a little. two staesmen in the room nodded. "'Tis a shame, some of the fine Russians that had to be..put down.". It was becoming clear that something wasn't quite right. "Some loyal commrades, even... Journalists..Bakers...Statesmen...Generals... all had to be put down..". The two Statesmen began to nod again, but others began to worry. "but fear not, for it shant happen again!" he exclaimed. "For on this day, I solemnly decree that there will be a new age! An age of order! An age of peace! An age of power!". He suddnely calmed himself, a snicker running across his hair-ridden lips. "All that needs to happen..is for you to die.". Just then, soldiers burst into the room. But these were not the guards. Not at all. They were dressed in fur overcoats, and rabbit-fur caps, containing a hand grasping a sword in red. This was the symbol of the Crimson Fist. The President gazed in disbeleif. Dugal could now be seen with a wide, menacing grin. The President asked "why, Dugal? why would you betray our Country?". Dugal chuckled a little. "correction, mr. President" he remarked, "...MY country!". Vladamir left the room. As he walked away from there, there could be heard the well-known sound of people getting wasted by machinegun fire. The rule of Vladamir Dugal, and the Crimson Fist, had begun.

A few days later, in the Crimson Fist's Military Stronghold in Siberia, the newly crowned "Czar Dugal" was going over reports with his top Colonels. "Czar," the first one began, "all political oposition in Kiev has been turned or exterminated as you commanded.". "Excelent!" Dugal replied, "Now no one will oppose me on the homeland." The second Colonel piped up. "Czar, the Emissary to the U.N. has been neutralised, and international Communications have been jammed.". "Well done.. now the world will be left in the dark whilst i prepare.." he exclaimed softly. All seemed to be going as scheduled, when suddenly, a man in a white lab coat burst into the room. "Czar!! Czar!! come quickly!! Dr. Krushchiev needs your counsel!!". The Czar stared at him with suprise for a moment, then arose from his seat. "We will finish the reports later, gentlemn. lead the way, good man!!".

A few moments later, Dugal and the assistant arived at Dr. Krushchiev's Labratory. The room was filled with beakers and vials containing a rainbow of violatle chemicals. The good doctor himself,a scrawny, hunch-backed old man, was studying a satellite image. on the screen, a gaping hole could be seen. A strange figure was also present. Dugal came over to the monitor. "Ah, so this is why you have summoned me, good doctor.", he said. "Ah yes, quite the conundrum indeed.. i must know what this life form is!!" The doctor said with delight. "yes.." Vladamir pointed out "..after we kill it..". "but why?!?" Krushchiev asked with astonishment. Dugal Exclaimed "because he has drawn attention to us. That tank was made by our engineers, and when the Americans find it, they will be drawn to us. I want the tank scrapped, and the life form exterminated.". "But Czar!! normal bullets cannot hurt it, that was confirmed in the neural scan I perfomred just a moment ago." the doctor pointed out. "Well then, don't YOU have something that can stop it?" asked Dugal. The doctor hesitated a little, then repleid, "y-yes, i do.." He went over to a control pannel, and pulled a lever downward. An operating table slid out from a giant drawer, and tilted foreward. A dark figure was strapped to it. "Czar Dugal," Krushchiev began, "i give you the AutoNeucleic NeuroAutomaton. Anna, if you need something simple."

"Excelent. deploy it against the life form immediately".

"As you wish, Great Czar.."

With the push of a button, the Android srung to life. A cord plugge into it's chest, electronically relaying the Czar's orders. Then, quick as a flash, it activated it's leg-based jet propulsion, and flew off in search of it's prey. As the machination flew off into the horizon, the good doctor wondered;

"Why, Dugal.. why did you do this?.. and to my own Granddaughter.."
